Yes — Phoenix celebrates your independence and does not ask you to change your branding, format, or structure. engagement.


No. You’re welcome to use any Phoenix group’s badge system’s, adapt it, or ignore it entirely and write your own. 


Not at all. Events are open to all Phoenix groups, but completely optional. 


Yes — you’ll need suitable public liability and activity insurance. Phoenix can help you understand what's needed and where to look. 


We ask that all your leaders have First Aid and Safeguarding training, we can help with that. Other training is available, but it’s up to each group to decide how best to equip its leaders. 


Registering as a charity/CIO allows your group to apply for grants, claim Gift Aid, and accept donations from funders that require charitable status. 


 We keep fees as low as possible (currently £2/member) to cover core running costs and keep Phoenix sustainable. There are no extra charges or compulsory expenses.
