Phoenix Independent Scouts Association is a proud member of WFIS Europe (World Federation of Independent Scouts – Europe).
WFIS Europe brings together independent Scout and Scout-like organisations from across the continent who share a commitment to traditional Scouting values, youth development, and outdoor adventure — while remaining locally governed and free from unnecessary bureaucracy.
Our membership connects Phoenix to an international Scouting network, allowing us to:
- Share best practice and safeguarding standards with like-minded organisations
- Take part in international camps, events, and training opportunities
- Represent our members within a wider European Scouting community
- Maintain independence while meeting recognised international expectations
Being part of WFIS Europe strengthens what we do, without changing who we are. Phoenix groups remain self-governing and community-focused, supported by a wider federation that values flexibility, responsibility, and high-quality Scouting.
